What this site is
I'm Ben, and I run Lumen Facial Aesthetics as an independent site about cosmetic treatments in Manchester and the towns around it. It's a place to read up before you book anywhere — not a clinic, and not a booking agent.
What we cover
Two strands, really. The first is the local picture: how aesthetic care looks in different parts of Greater Manchester, because it genuinely varies.
- City-centre clinics built around quick lunch-hour visits
- Salford Quays and MediaCity, Didsbury, Chorlton and Stockport
- The Cheshire end — Wilmslow, Hale and Hale Barns, Altrincham
The second strand explains the treatments: what anti-wrinkle injections do to expression lines, and how dermal fillers work for volume. Useful before any consultation.
How it's written
I write each piece to answer the question first, then fill in the detail. No hype, no scare stories, and no pretending one area's clinics are interchangeable with another's. Where the honest answer is "it depends on the practitioner", I say so.
